The
Future for Humanity
Humanity has
come a long way through a history that is seen very differently when
observed from the perspective of the evolution of consciousness
rather than Darwinian evolution. We have reached a critical point
where we are on the threshold of an incredible transformation far
greater than any seen before. The implication made throughout much of
this thesis has been that not only are some people experiencing a
spiritual emergence, but that humanity as a whole is fast approaching
a similar stage in its evolution, and much of this can be related to
an increase in kundalini activity.
As mentioned
earlier, the experiences of all who make up humanity can be likened
to a normal curve with the majority of people falling in the middle,
a small proportion at the tail end and a small proportion forming the
advanced tip. It is from the small proportion at the advanced tip who
lead the way and demonstrate by their own experience and example,
that we can get an idea of where we ourselves are heading. Sometimes
individuals get glimpses of their own future awareness through
meditation and other experiences.
There is also
the belief held by some people, rather similar to the hundredth
monkey syndrome, that when a significant proportion of individuals
reach a certain level of spiritual awareness then the rest will
suddenly gain an expansion of consciousness as well.
Our
understanding of the kundalini, its purpose and process, is still in
its infancy and growing all the time as more people experience its
effects, document their accounts, and relevant research continues.
The more spiritual emergence and the kundalini is understood the
better able we will be to assist those going through the process. It
will also become more necessary for education and holistic healing
therapies to focus on enhancing spiritual, emotional, mental and
physical well-being and assist in soul and personality integration,
and ultimately soul and personality fusion. With the application of
relevant psychospiritual techniques the kundalini will be facilitated
in its process and fewer of the adverse effects of kundalini arousal
will be evident.
More people
are turning to alternative methods of healing. Homoeopathic medicine,
for example, is increasing in popularity. It is a method of healing
that acknowledges the holistic nature of the person and performs a
'vibrational' approach to healing. Other types of healing which also
work holistically with man's energy fields include acupuncture and
reiki. Transpersonal and esoteric psychology work to link the higher
and lower minds, soul and personality. The more these various
approaches to healing work together the better. The future will see
holistic healing centres spring into being where teamwork among
professionals can be practised. Ultimately, as practitioners become
aware of their own higher levels of being, their source of aid in
healing will become more intuitional so that the rapport between the
practitioner's, as well as the patient's, soul will allow for the
appropriate method of healing to be applied.
An
understanding and acceptance of the kundalini holds great potential
for the future of humanity. The barriers between religions will
dissolve as the realisation dawns that we are all potentially divine,
and this potential is not limited to possible fulfilment in one life
but inevitable fulfilment after many lives. In fact, a whole new
perspective on life itself will be the result. Kundalini arousal can
affect anyone, regardless of race or religion, and when affected by
the kundalini's transformative energy, that person sees the truth
within his own religion and behind all religions. Hand in hand with
an understanding of the kundalini will grow an acceptance and
understanding of the expansions of consciousness through which we all
pass.
Allowing for
the fact that from the perspective of spirit, time doesn't exist,
then in reality even our own evolution is an illusion. Shiva and
Shakti are merged in their divine embrace and we are already part of
it. It is only in time that we are not aware of it. Perhaps the
passion of Shiva and Shakti, as a future reality, becomes
increasingly potent for us as we move forwards towards that reality,
and the waves of bliss move backwards in time to meet us. We may, in
effect, be responding to our own future rather than evolving towards
it!
Within our
time perspective will come a future when a large proportion of
humanity will have passed the third, fourth and even fifth
initiations. A time when nature has five kingdoms instead of the
current four. It may be difficult for us to imagine what the world
will be like but it will certainly be a 'Golden Age,' an age when the
system of government will be in accordance with divine will,
fulfilling the divine plan. Education will have as its main purpose
the building of the antahkarana under the guidance of adepts who have
already achieved it. Life will be dedicated to yoga and service. The
earth will have become a sacred planet while much of our service will
be towards life on the non-sacred planets. The science of esoteric
astrology will be a lived reality at the pinnacle of the science of
energies, while esoteric psychology will be the means of applying
this wisdom to the well-being and evolution of life on earth and
elsewhere.
In this thesis
I have attempted to research astrological correspondences for
kundalini arousal. This has proved to be a challenge and has only
indicated some possible trends without giving any definite results.
Even with the relatively small sample of clients and Masters, it is
obvious that a lot of future research will be needed. There are no
astrological indicators natally, or by progression and transit, that
can show a definite likelihood of kundalini arousal. There are
various reasons for this. One is that different planets are important
at different stages in one's evolutionary growth and the kundalini
could be active at successive stages of growth. Another reason is
that, depending on an individual's make up or ray type, kundalini
activity may work in different ways, via different centres, and
consequently, with different planets triggering or being triggered.
The case studies revealed different types of kundalini experience and
to some extent the planets involved reflected this, particularly when
associated with the progressed MC and transiting Pluto.
Of the four
Masters, three showed strong connections with the MC-IC axis, whether
natal, progressed or solar return, during probable initiations.
Further research into this axis, as well as into solar returns, could
provide valuable insight.
